Topaz Agent is experimental AI software for interacting with a decentralized protocol. It is not a broker, adviser, custodian, or fiduciary, and it does not give financial advice. Read this page before you act on anything it tells you.
This disclaimer governs your use of Topaz Agent — the AI agent published at agents.topazdex.com, together with its website, embedded chat, HTTP API, MCP server, A2A interface, ERC-8183 job handler, and every other surface through which the agent or its output is made available (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, whether directly, through a wallet, through a third-party application, or through another automated agent, you accept this disclaimer in full. If you do not accept it, do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by the operators and contributors of Topaz Agent and Topaz Dex (the "Operators"). Topaz Dex itself is a set of immutable, permissionless smart contracts deployed on BNB Chain; the Operators do not control your funds, your wallet, or your transactions.
All output of the Service — including quotes, routes, liquidity recommendations, gauge vote allocations, bribe plans, strategy reports, APR figures, projections, risk scores, and any prose the agent generates — is informational and educational only. It is general in nature, it is not tailored to your circumstances, and it must not be relied on as advice.
Nothing produced by the Service is a solicitation, recommendation, endorsement, or offer to buy or sell any asset, nor an invitation to engage in any investment activity. The Operators are not registered as, and do not act as, a broker, dealer, exchange, investment adviser, financial adviser, or fiduciary in any jurisdiction. No advisory or fiduciary relationship is created by your use of the Service, by any conversation with the agent, or by any payment made for an agent job.
You should obtain independent professional advice before making any financial decision.
You are solely and exclusively responsible for every transaction you authorize, sign, or broadcast — without exception, and regardless of how that transaction was produced.
This includes, for the avoidance of doubt, transactions that were:
The agent is a tool. It does not act on your behalf, and it has no authority to bind you. The decision to sign is yours alone, it is the only step that moves your funds, and it is the step at which responsibility attaches to you. Once a transaction is broadcast to BNB Chain it is irreversible: it cannot be recalled, cancelled, reversed, or refunded by the Operators, by Topaz Dex, or by anyone else.
The agent can be wrong, and a compromised or spoofed interface can present you with something other than what the agent produced. Your wallet's confirmation screen is the authoritative record of what you are about to do — not the chat, not the API response, and not this page.
Before signing anything, independently verify at minimum:
to address is the contract you intend to interact with;If anything is unclear, unexpected, or inconsistent with what you asked for, reject the transaction. Do not sign something you do not understand.
The Service is non-custodial. It never takes possession of your assets, never holds or requests your private keys or seed phrase, and never signs or broadcasts a transaction. At most it returns unsigned calldata or a semantic proposal for you or your wallet to evaluate.
The corollary is that the Operators cannot help you recover funds lost through a transaction you signed, a key you disclosed, a phishing site you visited, a scam token you purchased, or a wallet you lost access to. Custody of your keys means custody of your risk.
No employee, contributor, or agent of Topaz will ever ask you for your seed phrase or private key. Any request to do so is fraudulent.
The Service is built on large language models and experimental agent tooling. Such systems are probabilistic, not deterministic. They can and do produce output that is incorrect, incomplete, outdated, internally inconsistent, or entirely fabricated while appearing confident and precise. This is an inherent property of the technology, not a defect that has been eliminated.
The agent may misread your intent, misidentify a token or pool, miscalculate a figure, apply a strategy that is unsuitable for you, omit a material risk, or construct calldata that does not do what its accompanying description claims. No output is guaranteed to be accurate, suitable, or fit for any purpose, and no output should be executed without independent verification.
Automated callers — including other AI agents integrating over the API, MCP, or A2A — carry the same responsibility. Consuming the Service programmatically does not transfer any risk to the Operators, and building an autonomous system on top of it that signs without human review is done entirely at your own risk.
The Service depends on third-party and external data sources — including BNB Chain RPC providers, indexed subgraphs, pricing feeds, and analytics APIs — which may be delayed, rate-limited, incomplete, unavailable, reorganized, or simply wrong. On-chain state changes continuously; any figure you are shown may already be stale by the time you read it, and will likely have moved by the time your transaction lands.
APRs, yields, fee and bribe estimates, dollar-per-vote figures, impermanent-loss projections, risk scores, and any forward-looking statement are estimates and modeled projections, not promises. They typically extrapolate from recent or historical activity, they rely on assumptions that may not hold, and they will change. Past performance does not indicate future results. No return, yield, or outcome of any kind is guaranteed.
Interacting with DeFi protocols carries severe risk, up to and including the total and permanent loss of everything you commit. Risks include, without limitation:
Never commit more than you can afford to lose entirely.
The Service references and integrates third-party protocols, tokens, data providers, wallets, block explorers, and websites. The Operators do not control, endorse, audit, or vouch for any of them, and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, accuracy, or conduct. Any interaction you have with a third party is solely between you and that third party.
The mention of a token, pool, gauge, or protocol by the agent is not an endorsement of it, nor any representation that it is safe, legitimate, or suitable for you.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranty of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operators disclaim all warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
The Operators do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, reliable, complete, uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or its infrastructure is free of harmful components. The Service is experimental software and may be modified, degraded, suspended, or discontinued at any time, without notice and without liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operators — including Topaz Dex, its contributors, developers, maintainers, service providers, and affiliates — shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service or its output.
This exclusion applies to direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, and punitive damages, and to any loss of funds, digital assets, profits, revenue, yield, opportunity, goodwill, or data, whether the claim arises in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not the Operators were advised of the possibility of such loss.
It applies without limitation to losses arising from: transactions you signed; erroneous, incomplete, or fabricated AI output; inaccurate, stale, or unavailable data; calldata that did not perform as described; smart contract bugs or exploits; market movements; impermanent loss; failed, front-run, or sandwiched transactions; third-party protocols, tokens, keepers, or relays; and any unauthorized access to your wallet or keys.
Where liability cannot be excluded as a matter of law, the aggregate liability of the Operators to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you actually paid to the Operators for use of the Service in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.
You agree to hold the Operators harmless from, and indemnify them against, any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your transactions, or your breach of this disclaimer. Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Service and of Topaz Dex is lawful where you are. You represent that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction, that you are not accessing the Service from a jurisdiction in which doing so is prohibited, and that you are not a person subject to sanctions or otherwise barred from using such services under applicable law.
The Service is not directed at any person in any jurisdiction where its availability or use would be contrary to law or regulation. You are solely responsible for your own regulatory, reporting, and tax obligations, including determining and paying any tax arising from your transactions. The Operators do not provide tax or legal advice.
This disclaimer may be updated at any time. Changes take effect when published at agents.topazdex.com/disclaimer, and the "last updated" date above will reflect the revision. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer. Review this page periodically.
If any provision of this disclaimer is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
